I keep thinking that maybe these are Black Eyed Susans but...I'm not sure. Thoughts? I think they look a little like shuttlecocks in badminton.

I think they were wilting...unless it's a different variety of that type of flower that looks like that at its peak...but not sure.

You're cutting the flowers a bit, which is not good.. also the background should be uniform - at least I find those trees very disturbing, because they unbalance the photo and they do not fit in...
