Have you thought about their world? That’s one way to start a story by building it then characters.

I'm trying to build their world at the moment, although I have to say designing characters is much more fun to me. But yes, world-building is important when writing a story, especially if it's not set in our current time and place.

It's a fantasy setting that's (at least design wise) inspired by the Victorian era.

How many stories do you have in planning now that you're working on these characters' stories?
I'm still working on my comic to some degree.

I'm not sure, most stories I'm not really working on actively, they develop organically when I have time and motivation to think about the characters whithin them. A lot of them aren't really stories, more like just the way their life develops and some backstory? There isn't an actual plot just characters interacting at different points.
So really I just have one story I'm really working on.
Do you already know what will happen or do you go with whatever comes to mind for your story?

Makes sense; it's either one story or a bunch of separate stories for each character.
I planned out the general events to my story all the way to the end (that includes Demon Hunters' sequel, Awaken My World) and the specific details I fill in as I go.
