I had already grown to love Capaldi's Doctor, but Heaven Sent really cemented my respect for him. The Doctor's and Clara's faces in this drawing, however, were danged hard to get right. I still don't think I quite captured the likeness. It's one reason I've been doing these exercises. I'm trying to teach myself how to draw a face and make it look like them, which is a skill I feel I'm sort of hit-and-miss on. Sometimes I nail it on the first or second go, and sometimes I just can't get it right now matter how many times I erase and start over.

Yes, I put bloody handprints on the mantle. And what the lyrics were scrawled on the wall with is anyone's guess I picked this song because of something the Doctor said earlier in the series:

"Look at you, with your eyes. Your never-giving-up. Your anger. Your kindness. And one day, the memory of that will hurt so much that I won’t be able to breathe."
