Paint Doodle for *00Aki who won my contest. Sketch price is done as well already, I'll upload it soon. x3
Geez... what to say? It took a while. I was working on it yesterday and tody and it somehow felt like I was working on it like 10 hours, although I just had a lot of breaks and was chatting while doing... or was that lazy I just kept on staring on the unfinished piece. Dunno. |D
But now, it's finally finishes and I really like how it came out. ovo
Her characters are interesting, but hard to draw for me. Night is really cool, I loved to draw him, but I had to try twice before I was satisfied, which is quite unusual for me. Probably another reason why it took much longer than the doodle for =WhitePhox .
It's also a shame I don't know anything about him. A ref would be nice, with some background-info. What do you think, *00Aki , ma'am? : D
I don't know why, but I feel like my Paint doodles get worse and worse, though... although that's probably not the case. Gotta practise more. > >

If is not prob for you to tell me what was difficult to draw on Night and Solario so i can give some tips or change in ref

Well, they take a bit longer than simple pictures I think, but to me, they are important. Drawing pictures of your characters is one thing, but a reference makes many things clear, shows other parts of your character's personality and everything.
Hum... actually, there was nothing really hard to draw at all. I just had troubles because of their personalities, that's all. Although... you should include a precise reference of Solario's ears... and his tail, too. x3

Whoa!!! You did this on Paint doodle?! This is incredible!!! The lines really add a dark effect to the character, the colors match and blend perfectly to show the crazed look in his eyes! >D
Plus his hair is so spikey! 8D
Love this piece, I actually think you're really good with Paint doodles...you show thta you actually put effort into it-most people just give up work they've done in 2 minutes.

I think you compare your paint pics to your full pics too much. That's why you think you're getting worse. I've got the same problem with doing linearts.

if you can't doodle in MSPaint you can try oekaki, it's the same.. but with layers xD or paint.net idk

Myes, I thoguht about using oekaki boards as well, but then again... you can't save them on there, only if they are done and I usually don't draw something on one single day. Dunno, I like paint. I just have to practise a little more. xD

well with the SAI paint tool you have the "binary" tool wich makes everything in pixels, you can try it too

Well... I draw a circle to know where the hand-palm is and add the fingers. The rest is practise. If oyu have real trouble with drawing hands, try to copy some from other artists as practise. But not just copy, try to draw this circle. I can't draw hands out of nothing as well, I always need circles as orientation. xD

Yes, just a circle, then add the fingers on this circle. This makes it easier to place the fingers correctly for me. C:
Concerning different angles... yes. It's practise. And if you don't know how it works, it is okay if you take a little look on other artists' works. I sometimes do that if I don't know how to do certain parts of poses, like angles of an arm, leg or hand. As far as you don't copy it completely, it doesn't matter. xD
