Another commission for .I had to restart the sketch once and I love Ardyn to death but I still don't understand his outfit. Despite everything, this was quite fun to draw.

I took some liberties with his outfit, for example I couldn't really recreate the exact pattern on his scarf/hood thing, part of it is hand-drawn, part of it is a floral brush. I love the many layers of his outfit, it's just hard to figure out what goes where. Makes you think, though.

I couldn't imagine trying to do an exact on his outfit. Its as layered as he is! I love the outfit you gave him though. I did know there was a floral brush that could help with that. Its stunning and great. And she has such a glummy grump face <3

More skilled artists can do it so well... Actually, someone once made a brush of the exact pattern of Ardyn's scarf, but I was a dummy and didn't save it. D:

I also didn't realize just how complicated his outfit it. Which makes sense to me, not just to avoid the sun, but if you recall he has grown in layers of others personalities on top of his own. So layering is protection and probably unconscious. You did a fabulous job on his outfit by the way. He looks stunning and like he is posing without a care.

Ardyn wears the outfit due to how the insane amount of cloth protects him from the sun since he is a daemon and even though the sun can't kill him (Due to his healing factor) the sun can still hurt him.
