Just saw this on modelmayhem's forums . Wow!! I have no idea how you do it, the image is flawless and skin texture is perfectly preserved. Great contouring as well. Amazing!

Did you D&B first, and then adjust the makeup?

Yes, I did all the skin work first (D&B, and cleanup), and then refined (painted) the makeup on top of that.

Just a quick question, how did you get that color?
Ive been trying to accomplish it, but it just doesnt feel right.

Nevertheless awesome stuff.

I sampled the color I wanted, painted it on a new layer and changed its blending mode to my liking. Adjust the opacity to taste.
The blending mode will vary depending on the image and what you're trying to achieve.

I'm also working on a photo of Stefan, just like this one and I wanted to smooth the transitions between shadow and light. The problem is that no matter what values I give to the HP filter and the Blur, the photo looks blurred in the end. That's why I asked you.
