On a personal note, I think, I am really improving over this. What do you think?
Btw, there are still open requests left: Requests [Open]Ok, ok, I know I didn't want to open requests, because I'm still drawing at old ones. But yet, I reached the milestone of 1000 watchers, so I wanted to celebrate it, and thus started a poll asking what I should do. As many people approached me in the last time wishing for requests, I had a feeling that this option would win. Still, it was closer than I thought. As I did before these requests will have a certain format, so there will be specifics in style and format. I hope you do not mind. My thought was, if I open requests, I may get an advantage out of it as well, and on top, it will at the end, come as a nice collection of paintings. So, I recently posted some of my studies to Andrew Loomis' "Drawing the Head and Hands" , which I plan to continue. For this I thought, well, wouldn't it be nice to have a series of portrait, just to the waist, much like the Mona Lisa (or Gioconda). I'll make it a round number, say 100 requested portraits. Maybe put them together in an art book afterwards. So, withough further talking, here are the rules, before I start ranting about the "Fixing" of the Mona Lisa-thing :Rules:- Format will be 1900 x 1500 px (Instagram format)- Gioconda-format, so a portrait, to the waist, shown in 3/4 view (only 1 character per picture)- Character should be yours or of a show, video game etc. / no other peoples OCs- Character may be male or female, human(oid), animal, I don't care as long as it has a face to portrait. - Style will be semi-realism to realism, wherever my style journey will take me. But no Manga / Anime this time.- You may have more than one request, but I ask some empathy of you, maybe not post 10 at a time. There are other people out there that might also want a request. - You may decide on pose, expression, hands gesture etc. - Please add reference to your request, it might be art of your character, but can also be a description (if it is a good one), you can also add reference for pose etc., but you don't have to. I think this is all, if something occurs me, I'll add it, if it occurs to you that something is missing on this list, please comment. Number of Requests Available: 65
