For: Deviantart‘s Tutorial Series (Draw a superhero profile)

I really like this, the tutorial and the outcome. The character is a merman I adopted a few years ago, Wade. I‘ll also post a process pic in a sec, I currently have a poll on this theme running, and thus I can show an example.
Also, I like very much the charity aspect of it, since DA is donating 1$ for every valid piece up to 5000$ to the Superman Project.
Aside from that profile portraiture is a very classic thing, and I like that it is featured in this. It was e.g. the most popular portrait style in the renaissance era.
