Really nice, you deserve to be pleased with your final result as this looks excellent for AudeS , especially since you tried a wooden dummy and candlelight to help out with this drawing as the lighting in the background and Yishai's shadow are great. It does capture Yishai as the one who will lead us to our mysterious fate and his human form looks neat. It's also nice that you showed Colonel-Motivation 's work here as well.

Very nice job on 's character. I like the dark atmosphere to this. And is also a great guy with cool characters. It's nice you've done commissions for them. You drew him well. I like the hair eyes and coat.

*chuckles* In the darkest moments of one's life, when one fails to know what lies ahead and what they should do, a solemn voice might whisper into their ears, leading their way back. I think this is neatly presented here with the darkened tunnel and Yishai appearing in the middle, holding a light in hand and holding out the other hand for the one looking at him, as to offer guidance admist uncertainty. I suppose that this theme kind of fits the art process itself as it was a challenge, and certainly one with a victory following. I find the final result to be a perfect composition of light and dark, which is excellently worked into the theme as well.
I also like how you were able to make the transition from the shape he takes in FR, and the one he would use within a world inhabited by humans. Not a man of muscles, but of mystery and mind, born from an indominable will. Yishai looks perfect the way he is shown here. And the androgynous face does perfectly work for him as the one between Danica and Asbjörn, who are more femine or masculine respectively.
Of course, I should say that the Fate part is mostly attributed by mortals, who follow a more deterministic view on the world. In truth however, what Yishai does is to show options that one may take by their own free will, taking fate in their own hand. The philosophy certainly is also found in your description here.

Hehe, I did think of exactly that, as you mentioned that
you rarely get humans as commissions, and certainly,
you did not have any rust with them, as he looks perfect.

9B graphite pencil always helps me when I need to reach the shade that would be "blacker than the blackest black" xDDD

Thankfully the definition of fate present applies more to "taking fate in one's own hands". I myself am not a determinist at all, so I probably should confirm the deterministic definition of fate to be false for my work.
