Airship from my sketchbooks. Old, in need of redesign.

I have two timelines for my comic projects; in one, where the Silverfish and Tyndareus exist, aeroplanes are a recent innovation and it is still firmly the age of the big gun. In the second, about 50 years later, aeroplanes and gunships are becoming the dominant force as battleships die out. (If you don't see the WWI-->WWII naval paradigm shift here, shame on you).

This ship is as the title indicates a cruiser dedicated to providing an umbrella of fire for a fleet to protect against attacking gunships.
