thank you! glad they like you, most of the time is the round brush no feather, 100% opacity, and 30% flow.
As for the other thing, when I have a good gray scale to start with, i put the color on another layer on top in color mode, sometime i duplicate that and try with another modes, almost always I end using another 2 of these duplicates one in overlay and other in multiply, after that I overpaint and change values with levels, curves and color balance
