Even though it is Fall in the States I still feel like it should be summer. Our weather has been so screwy lately...so sad.This is an all watercolor wip I am currently working on with a few other pieces that make me think of summer. It is turning out well enough and truth be told this is a beginning shot! I have much more work put in on this painting then you are seeing sorry But this is a stag or buck *however you call it* I have titled it Summer Stag as it is modeled after a male fallow deer which are referred to as stags in Europe and I prefer to be correct on my animal speak terms .
Done on 300lb cold press with various watercolor mediums...pencil, cakes, tubes, etc.
