I love his markings, they are so creative, and that shade of red is to die for >3

But if I may suggest, you could try blending the colours of the background more to make it look more natural and less scratchy? I find it’s easiest to blend them if you work softly with very sharp pencil crayons, and build the layers on until it has the vibrancy you are looking for. Another, easier, trick is to work over the entire piece with a white pencil crayon, working it hard until the paper and lines becomes smooth (however you can’t go back and build on colours or change it later, and it may look muddy on occasion).

I use a colorless blender but it really drew the bright colors out. I think I just didn't use them soft enough. I went back and added changes but once u put the wax down it doesn't work as well. It was definitely a new try but I think I'll have to be a lot softer. I bare down hard when I draw so sometimes it's hard for me. But I'll definitely take your advice.

Amazing! His design is sooo great! I love the black and red stripes on his body aaand the red claws!
And yeah... sand is really hard to draw, especially with Photoshop... "XD But you did it very good!
