Last year, my brother wanted me to draw a picture of some of his favorite wrestlers, but he didn't give me a clear idea of what he wanted until he saw my Disney Princess picture in March. I told him to give me his top three wrestlers of each decade. from the 80's to now so a total of 12 wrestlers, it grew to nineteen....... This was the hardest group shot I've done in recent memory. I knew which wrestlers had to be in the 'spotlight' Ultimate Warrior(my brother's childhood hero, RIP), John Cena(his man crush), Stone Cold, and The Rock (no reason he's just awesome), but everyone else dear LORD! I've assembled categories for this pic.Hardest to draw: The Shield, from full body to close up, this group was a challenge from day one.
Easiest: Bret Hart!!! My childhood love.
Hardest Outfit: Edge, I used to love that jacket...now not so much...
Happy Accident: The line of bold men from Kurt Angle to Cesaro to Stone Cold
Most fun: Macho Man!
Most Interesting: Undertaker, I wanted to draw him from the 90s but it wasn't as cool as later looks so I combined the best aspects. Attitude shirt, Awesome trenchcoat and hat from Wrestlemania 25, and I turned the gloves purple from the 90s.
Any comments or critique would be appreciated since this is the first time I've tried to draw real life men in my style, everything I've done to this point has been pretty boys or green aliens.

Ultimate Warrior! Warrior was the only wrestler in WW history to run into the ring and shake the ropes like crazy. The guy was awesome and full of energy. I was sad to hear that he passed away a day after his final appearance on RAW in April 2014. At least Warrior got the honor of being inducted into the WW Hall of Fame before he passed away.
The only two old wrestlers from the past that are still in WW today is Hulk Hogan and the Undertaker. And they're in their 50's now. Wow, 50 years old and they're STILL wrestling. I'm sure they'll both retire in another 10 years. I don't think anyone can wrestle at 70 years old anyway.

Of course now, Hulk Hogan's existence was erased thanks to scandal. So really undertaker. My brother who was a huge fan of the Warrior was very saddened by his death. You'd be surprised what these wrestlers will do to stay in the squared circle

So many fond memories of wrestling. One of my favs is Stone cold beating up another wrestler in a supermarket. If only that could happen again.

Just to be clear, are you saying you don't like Seth Rollins the wrestler? Strangely enough, with all the storyline changes I actually enjoy Seth now in the WWE. Him and Dean are hilarious!

It's supposed to be a baseball bat wrapped in barbwire. He used something similar in a Hell in the Cell match with Triple H. I'm glad you like it!

Yes he is, he recently wrestled in the last two ppv events but Stephanie and him are playing the role of the evil bosses much like vince before them. One wrestler that I'm surprised is still wrestling is Golddust. That's a wrestler I didn't expect to last long
I was forced to stop watching by my mother after she saw the wrestler Val Venus, with his porn star persona, making out with some girl in the ring. It was a sad day for me... I still hate that wrestler.

I think this looks great! You know I don't watch wrestling but even I can recognize a majority of people here, so I think you captured the important aspects of their images. (Shout out to Baby-Oil, Two-Tone and Tag-A-Long. The only suggestions I might make would be to try a different method for you collages, maybe in separate blocks like when you compared different manga styles with Amaya. Or maybe squish them all together more like fav.me/d295hxs . The reason I say this is because when you draw different sized figured some can look warped or out of proportion and having empty spaces in between draws the focus away from the figures.

I actually got the idea for drawing the wrestlers different sizes from my tales of artbook. My brother gave me so many wrestlers to draw that the arrangement was driving me nuts. At least I captured the essence of the wrestlers.

It was my way of making sure that people knew that was Edge and plus Lita was my fav female wrestler at the time.
