Okay, so I treated my friend's MistyDawn and SenbonGirl7 to The Hobbit for Christmas and me personally I enjoyed it more than Lord of the Rings even if my beloved Aragorn wasn't in it. So Misty-Dawn expressed her undying love for Kili and wanted me to draw a picture featuring him and his brother Fili BUT I wanted to draw a comic of my Orc character lamenting the treatment of Orcs in various movies and videogames so I combined them both! Plus I wanted to draw Thorin!By the way, Happy Birthday Misty-Dawn!!!

To be fair, they're portraying them correctly. Tolkein literally invented orcs, and they certainly didn't have honor or pride. They were ruthless, world consuming monsters, and that's how I like em.

I think it's the bandit armor. It's been a while since I've played Skyrim. I can't remember if I got the armor through a mod or the game itself.

I can't help not liking Orcs. They nearly killed Celebrian, they cut Thror's head off, they... They... K-killed Boromir... I can't-! (Takes deep breath) At least both Lord of the Rings and the Elder Scrolls agree Orcs were originally normal Elves. Boromir... (Bursts into tears)

I was pretty bummed when I saw Lord of the Rings, the Fellowship of the Ring and Boromir died as well. Mostly bc he was the second best looking guy in my opinion after Aragorn. I like manly men so I was alone amongst my friends who all liked Legalos.Β
Toph(My orc girl): I'll admit, we Orcs aren't the easiest to get along with and we have the tendency to get angry very easily, and we have some bad seeds, a lil more than most people. But hey, I'm nice! Just keep the alcohol away from me, I tend to black out and some buildings get destroyed and whatnot!

Well to be fair, it was really an Uruk-Hai that killed Boromir. Yeah, they can be considered orcs, but they're not ENTIRELY orcs.

Trust me, the different types of orcs that exist in Middle Earth are staggering. There are different groups (normal orc, uruks, goblins) and each order has its own subgroups. The Uruk-Hai (the type that was responsible for Boromir's death) are seen as somewhat the elite when compared to orcs. Reason why is because not only are they stronger than regular orcs, but they can also withstand sunlight perfectly, which is usually disabling for an orc to be under.Β

Apparently Uruk-Hai are being like this because "someone" (Saruman) mixed Orcs with Humans as well in order to, well ... "create" them, thus they could be considered a hybrid race. Yikes!

They are some of the nastiest creatures on Middle-Earth. Their ferocity during Helms Deep is a good example of that.Β

Indeed, thus in this case, it`s hybridization gone horribly right. That doesn`t make me like them more though, even if they were somehow hilarious in The 2 Towers.

Hm, I agree about Boromir but I can't think of Aragorn that way. I have fantasies in which he is my brother, you see. But I. Hate myself for liking Legolas. Tis why I watch the Pirates of the Caribbean. And Toph (nice name by the way!) I... I just have bad memories and Orcs are the villian of most of them. You're cool though, pretty funny from what I've seen. And... Yeah, no alcohol! How bout a sprite?

Too be fair the Orcs in wow are not 'evil" a bit brutal but there closer than Elder scrolls orcs with a high sense of honor (and higher population) and fall under the "proud warrior race" thing.Β

I'm relatively new to fantasy that involve elves and orcs but what I've seen, orcs are typically on the side that are considered evil. But of course now, I love that big ol brutes! And this comic was based more so on The Hobbit. Also my friend really, REALLY wanted me to draw Kili and FiliΒ
