The shadows really make this pop, though, one thing I'd do is make the adversary in the background clearer. I can't see what he's doing at all. It's as if he's melting into the sky behind him. It's only a small adjustment!

My mind said "That looks like something from Earthworm Jim" before I really was able to identify what the green blob was or what the dark shape (Earthworm Jim) above the green blob was when looking at the thumbnail. Impressive that you were able to communicate the vibe that way!

Well I was trying to go for strong bold colors and shapes with no soft tones. Glad it worked out.
