Castor, trying to process everything that’s happened, finds himself back at Vyz’s tomb. Clutching onto the Gaia Crystals, he ruminates on the events that lead to DarkClaw’s sacrifice; And what he could have done to prevent it all.
“…Why’d you do it…?”
He hears a voice behind him, “Because he felt that you would succeed where he failed.”
Castor turns around quickly and asks, “…Who are you?”
“Oh yes. I never gave you an introduction. My name’s Wraith, but he called me Ryant. I’m an old friend of Dark C.”
“…Ok…?”
“Tell me something, kiddo…why are you here?”
“What’s it matter to you? You’re just another stranger to me.”
“…How long are you going to run from this pain, Castor?”
Castor tenses up. It’s been less than a day, how can this man be so calm about all of this!? “It’s ‘cause of me we lost him. I had a nightmare about what was going to happen, and it came true because I didn’t tell anyone!”
“…No son, it’s not your fault. You were carrying out what Aaron told you to do. You wouldn’t have known what was in there if that robot didn’t take the Crystals.”
Just then, Castor’s eyes flare up with light blue energy.
“Woah…!”
It’s as if something was awakened, something close to him. But what, exactly?
