First set of Pixlexian adopts!
Pixlexians are a CLOSED species

Pixlexians live in an electronic world, a world within electronic devices. That does not limit them to cell phones and computers, Pixlexian Devices can be anything electronic, even musical instruments or vehicles.
Pixlexians have their own jobs and lives within this electronic world. While they tied to their devices (though they may leave for short periods of time, the stronger and older the Pixlexian the longer, though they may never leave completely without dying) they are also able to be in the cyber-space world where they are able to interact with other Pixlexians and purchase food they need and other such things. Often though Pixlexians will stay to their own devices or others with similar devices. From there they tend to do things that have to relate to their devices such as a pony from a musical device such as an ipod or an electric guitar will generally make music or do things to improve their devices.
Pixlexians are generally peaceful as they don't like interacting with normal ponies. EXCEPT in a very, very rare case, a Pixlexian will either turn, or be born Corrupted, these Pixlexians are known as ViRuS.
ViRuS Pixlexians are dark and enjoy causing all sorts of trouble, they do not usually stick to their own device but will travel throughout all the devices that are the same as their own and cause as much trouble as they can corrupting and destroying data and devices. For a ViRuS to breed, especially with a non-corrupt is extremely rare. ViRuS also have the unique ability to emit EMPs.
Pixlexians come in every colour, (Muted tones, however, are hard to come by.) When they move they pixelate. And will do so even when standing still (This means, that pixels will drift off their bodies around them) A flying Pegasus Pixlexian's back half from wings onward would look like a shower of pixels.
They all have a band that glows, their eyes may also glow softly. However a ViRuS Pixlexian's Glow Band act the opposite of a non-corrupt and take in light, rather then emit it.
Most of the time they live within electronic devices, this would include anything from iPods, to electrical instruments. They may also live outside of their devices, but not for very long before they begin to fade away as they rely on a power source. They may also do something called "Projecting" which is to project a holographic image of themselves outside of their device, while remaining in their device. The stronger the Pixlexian, and the Older the Pixlexian, the longer they can project. Inside their devices and in their own universe they are quite small (They could fit into the palm of your hand, or even smaller) but outside or projecting from their devices, they are regular pony sized.

Completely straight hair (wavy, curled, spikey ect. is fine)
Alicorns.
