Her name was Summer, which was ironic considering she'd been born on the coldest day in New Orleans in a decade. Her parents believed in witchcraft and voodoo. She grew up surrounded by Indian spices, lavender hanging from the vaults in the ceiling, dusty couches, cobwebbed books, rosemary and red ochre.oh look, another submission with sparkles and butterflies, bet you didn't see that one coming ;]
