wow this is really pretty coloring going on. I like it. however the anatomy of the left pony is realle weird.

She's beautiful. And her student (I take it that's who she is) looks great. I did have to look up the Hopi hand thing... 

Also, I've long wondered what a distant-future Twilight would be like, when she's ruling a kingdom or something and has a "faithful student" or two.  Wonder how much of her Ponyville antics she'll speak of in the future. 

Student: "Princess Twilight! Princess Twilight! They said in history class that about 600 years ago everyone in Ponyville got hit with this love spell thing and went crazy! Weren't you around then? Who did it, was it King Sombra? Was it Tirek?"
Twilight: "Uh... heh heh... about that..."

Since the day that I rose,

Even past the point where failure has forced tears to your eyes.

Since the day that we met I have watched you,
To see the pony that you would grow to be.
My standard were high,
Yet I was still surprised,
When you climbed higher than ever did I foresee.
