Playing about with the Spiral Flower Script again. Still not getting where I really want to be, but vast improvement nonetheless.Apophysis 2.09, color correction in PSCS2. Gradient is Bauble from the Winter Wonderland Gradient Pack .

I really love the colouring and the shape of the fractal. You have requested critique, I'll try to do my best. Thenly thing I want to mention is the lower area of the picture. The lines there are interesting, it seems like a spider web, but I get the impression that it is, uhm, what to say, unfinished and together with the rhombus shapes in the petals of the flower it may seem a little bit messy. Maybe you can zoom the fractal a bit more, make it fill more of the space. But it is only my opinion. It is really a nice work.

I did try several alternate croppings of the piece, but they created other compositional ugliness... I almost felt like I was choosing the least of the evils when it came to cropping.
You can see a couple of those other crops in the print of this, since some products only come in something other than a 1:1 ratio.
Some of that messiness is also because I'm still experimenting with this technique, and I haven't perfected it yet.
Thank you for the critique; it gives me some stuff to think about and address as I work on my next piece.
