i love it! For the darkest parts of the drawing, do you use only charcoal? because every time I try to use it, I'm never too sure about the result

Heya - I've been trying to figure out which paper works best for graphite pencils. I've been using Arches Hot Press watercolor but I'm not sure I like the tooth.
You mention A4 in your 'tools' but I haven't seen a mention of what type/brand of paper you use. I would really appreciate your opinion here!

Hey Lori! It depends on different factors and the final feeling and textures you want to achieve. If they are color pencils with wax or oil, graphite, charcoal....
For realism and graphite I love the smoothness of Canson Bristol 250 g/m^2 but I also like the Canson Lineal sketch with certain sepia tone. Besides, I use Strathmore, Fabriando, Derwent, HahnemΓΌelle...
Try to test the one that suits you the best. Hope it helps!
