Author's Note: The second installment of my ongoing Warhammer: 40,000 fanfic series, Marsh Silas. I am in the process of editing the story and my goal is maintain a fairly brisk and regular upload schedule. If you're new to the story, I highly recommend following the previous links to Volume I. This was an interesting chapter to work on because I decided to take a large aspect from chapter two, the whimsical exploration of notable names in the platoon, and insert it into the beginning of Volume II. It's a lot of information but it ties into the theme established by the title. Other than that, it was just a matter of adding the new content I wanted and cleaning things up. Even though I've read it twice now, I suspect I missed a thing or two. Either way, very fun!
