This is historically accurate (or as much as I could make it) to the 1680s, the Golden Age of Piracy, as opposed to all the fanart that has been drawn of the outfit. Used the one official drawing as a reference point. Made with as many historically accurate textiles as possible - 100% wool, velvet, linen. silk, metal buttons. Gun is a replica English flintlock.
