I have commissioned three drawings of Megumi now and I love all the different takes on her, how each one presents a different way of seeing her. In trying to make her design more fleshed out, I've taken to redesigning her, in which I try to add more individuality.
Trying to decide on her cheeks, I try to replicate the way you drew them here. I realize again how difficult subtlety is, and it's one of the things I admire about you, namely the ability to create any sort of curve you want.
Mimicry isn't part of my final drawings, but it sure is nice to learn from the best. Perhaps now that I've tried the three cheek styles that have come I'll simply wing one of my own. Funny how the more I learn about art, the more things impress me about the work of others.
And so, since I often find it hard to compliment any one particular aspect of your work, I now know the perfect thing to compliment about this commission. From experience, I might hazard a guess that those cheeks may have been a little difficult. They really are just curved perfectly to be a prominent feature of this piece without looking chubby. It may just be a me thing, but that seems to be the most impressive part of the line art for me, personally.

Small rabbit. Partial rabbit. Subtly bun.
...I guess I really didn't decide exactly how I wanted her eyes to look, but they look really good here. I think I use oblong eyes far too much. I'll experiment with eye shapes like this.
As I already (sort of)Β mentioned at the top of my comment, the rabbit influence is clear, but subtle. You really made her wild tail and collar look really cute, too. Her name means blessing, and she's radiating that here.

I never thought one of the eeveelutions could be so cute with a little rabbit flare! You did an excellent job on his character, and you really do have a great style with the smaller Pokemon~Β
