I'm not sure if it's actually mandatory or not, so I chose to draw her without! It's much easier to add a scarf on top if necessary than to edit one out xD

That's the same reason I usually put the black collar on my own sona! Without it she seems a bit /too/ solid and it bothers me. fkjhgfg

I'll add the scarf in and see if it makes it look even better!! Would you like it to be the thicker scarf in the bottom left of your ref, or the more thin bowtie-like one? :0

The thin bowtie would be best. >> it's only big on the bottom one because she's a puppy and hasn't quite grown into it yet.

Not at all!!
I've drawn your sona before without her collar! I honestly don't mind iif it's not there. I just think it looks a bit more pleasing to the eye to have it in order to keep her from looking like a solid colour, even though there are small subtlties to her overall appearance. Just makes it easier to see where her ears end and her neck begins? something like that.

I updated the file, what do you think? I agree that the bowtie helps cut away some of the solidness! And bows are the cutest things <3

Mandy was just being thoughtful, she wasn't trying to hurt you on purpose. I'm sure she would say so herself, and it really wasn't a big deal to me at all. I'm just happy to see my sona in your style no matter what you decide to do with her.

Ahhh well, I meant like in the gifts she gets? ;w; Everyone draws her using the scarf so idk pfft. It just seemed more natural to me to see her using it.
