Hahaha new contest on the fanpage church of Madoka ( www.facebook.com/thechurchofma… ), this time it's ~8 pannels doujinshi ! No particular theme.I had a lot of trouble finding something interesting and funny... so I recycled this old joke. Somehow I just love putting sailor fukus on things xD I spent 4 days creating this. The weapons parts slowed me a lot as I've never drawn guns before... I was too afraid to try. Finally I found simple models on google images that I used as references, and the result is rather legit ! Joy. It was also my first time seriously using my manga studio debut 4. It was fine until the moment I had to export it in a size under 2000px wide to post it here. I was getting moire (tones being destroyed) ALL THE TIME. I spent 10 hours to find a way to get the clean result above. X_X
To conclude, drawing kyubey doing stupid nonsense and getting shot was very satisfying

I saw this contest and was going to put something on there, but I didn't have any ideas. But I really like this comic. I laughed pretty hard at when Kyubey dressed like a generic school girl.

About the line, I checked out your gallery. The way you're lining looks cute so I think it's fine. But if you want something more "neat", you have to draw every segment with a single line (idk how to explain better xD). If you fail, type CTRL Z and try again (it can take a lot of time to get a fine trait orz)

I was really convinced you would.
Me on the other hand I would've never guessed that I had a chance on winning so I'm REAAALLY happy.
I spent the whole day re-reading it to make sure I wasn't being blind or that they made a mistake or something OTL.
And then when I thought okay I believe it now I felt like, no I don't believe it still. STILL FEELS WEIRD TBH.
I had never entered a contest before so it was a really big surprise for me. c:

It's alright don't worry, I knew I wouldn't win if there were many other people entering xD Creativity doesn't exist in my head, what I made was nothing original for the internet, but I still had to try my best as I was the one who suggested a comics contest xD And in the end it was a good practice for manga studio so it's fine.
And trust me I'm extremely happy I didn't win the 2nd place either XD The prize was so scary
