Description
Creature is inspired by fiddler crabs, spiders, scorpions, grasshoppers, monkeys, bulldogs, and more.I find it fun to do something straight from the mind rather than working from real images.
Made from many, many watch pieces, including gears, watch plates, spring barrels, watch winding stems, watch jewels, and clips. The lightbulb is a Christmas light. His spine is a watch band.
55mm front to back, 36mm wide, 25mm tall.

This is fantastic! I'm creating a piece of jewellery in a similar way. I'm using resin and hardener to bind it all together, do you mind telling me how you chose to stick all these tiny pieces together?

I did make that, and it doesn't move on its own, but I can get it to dance it I shake my hand while it's on it. Also, not articulated.

You should really make rings that look like this. Something like that could sell really well and receive free promotion from sites like thisiswhyimbroke.com, thinkgeek etc.

I'll look further into rings. A lot of the work I do, like this, is a bit to delicate for the hands, which is why I do a lot of necklaces, gearrings, tiebars, and cufflinks. I appreciate the promotion site suggestions as I could always use more views.

It's a lead free silver bearing solder...basically tiny welds.
