Very cute. I can't seem to come up with an idea for this derby. Which is probably for the best since I'd just fail again. Wheee!

Ugh yeah that derbies are hard. I can never tell what will do well. I just kept throwing stuff at the wall to see what fit. I thought the designs you put up were all pretty good. It just tends to take a while to get a bead on what the people at woot will vote for in designs.
I always suggest sending dailies ([link] ) to them as a good alternative to the derbies. Much more freedom and they just tell you yes or no. Then you can put up the art or send it elsewhere.

Neat. I'll have to try some dailies. Seems with the derbies if it isn't submitted as soon as the derby starts it doesn't have much chance. And I can't seem to figure out when they start. Is it Friday every week? I also have some technical questions if you have the time sometime like about gradients and stuff.

Though I should tell you once you submit a design to the derby, Woot doesn't want you to just send it in as a daily... they like to keep the two parts of their site separate. =/ That sort of sucks.
