Taky sem na to nějak narazil na FB...těší mě že se jim to líbilo až tak že to použili k ilustraci ale netěší mě že se mě nikdo neptal na svolení(zvlášt když to je chráněno autorským právem a vzniklo jako obálka pro konrétní vyšlou knihu).Ještě horší je že sem nedávno našel celou řadu svých prací v jedné knížce kde se mě rovněž nikdo neptal na svolení k užití.

Je to jeden z důvodů, proč jsem to jsem postoval. Jak je vůbec možné, že to užijí i přes uplatněná autorská práva? "Jen obrázek z internetu". Řešíš to nějak takovéhle záležitosti?
Je to jeden z důvodů, proč se snažím většinu své práce držet "mimo dostup" ostatních lidí, tak dlouho, jak to je jenom možné/hotové /literatura) protože se děsím toho, že se mi jednou stane něco podobného.

Doted jsem to řešit nemusel ale najednou jsem se setkal se dvěma případy v krátkém čase.Hlavně ta knížka je docela maso.Nějak to řešit budu alespon v jejím případě ale mám pramálo času uvažovat nad tím jak přesně.Každopádně kontaktuju vydavatele či autora nebo obojí.Jinak když jsem listoval časopisy o historii kterých u nás existuje hafo tak mě vždycky zajmalo jestli mají všechny ty obrázky použité se souhlasem majitelů no a ted myslím znám odpověd-typuju že obsolutní většina těch obrázků je prostě sprostě ukradená.

Certainly!The only person allowed to wear so much purple by this time was an Emperor himself or members of his family and anyone who would dared to wear real imperial purple(of so-called Tyrian shade)or something similar would seriously endengered his live as this was often punished by death sentence.

Awesome. It seems your art is not only excellent at showing proper historical pieces, and conveying a lot of emotion, but also introducing new books. I've enjoyed the Arthuriad that you illustrated the cover for, I'll definitely have to check out this upcoming title as well.

Well that purple fabric is adorned with Imperial images-representations of Emperor Valens(lying now with an arrow in his body)and his nephew and colleague Emperor Gratianus ruling in the western territories of the Empire(blue shield lying before Emperor is actualy of western army guard unit sended by Gratian to reinforce his uncle army).

Thank you-in this case it was really a hard work almost on a fyzical level as I was forced to fight almost constantly with health problems while doing on one of the most important parts of the whole process-coloring it.
