The fellow in foreground is Victor Marlowe (and yes he is also very, very tall) and the other guy is Blaine VanJulivan, Vic's boss. Blaine organized the local demon-hunters agency in his hometown, and Vic is his best worker. Vic now has a scar and one eye due to his dangerous profession....
Blaine is especially intent on destroying all the demons in Kelwood since a vampire killed his parents and just recently another one killed the girl he loved ( Vic also had a crush on her, as well as the title character Charby...I like "love polygons!")
I have too much fun with backgrounds. it doesn't look bad does it? the leaves are fun to make if they turn out right the first time. The grass didn't want to look right though...nor did the moon, which I wanted to be orange-ish (because it is rising) I couldn't seem to get a good balance of orange and light...ah well
