That is the most common bit of advice given to me. I'm just trying to figure out how to remove the needle after looping the thread through without breaking the thread.

oh you make the thread double before putting it in the needle.

The only problem I have now is how to make the hair lay down like yours do. Most people tell me to boil the hair, but I'm a little leery because the hair is Katsilk nylon and I don't know how it would fare in boiling water...

you don't need to boil it, just pour some hot water over it and twist it around the ponys leg to get that curve in the end, other wise just fasten the her to her leg with a rubberband

I just need it to lay flat. It's a boy pony. This fellow in particular. [link] The hair needs to lay a bit flatter on the one I am making.
