Trixie is my favourite non Mane 6 character from the show
I love her colors and her attitude xDSo here she is now, looking to entertain you less amazing creatures
Once again, we see my bad imagination bith backgrounds... I just hate them so much, I feel like my backgrounds are making my drawings worse
Though i am practising I just hate how they turn out....In this picture I don't even know what i feel is wrong, I just feel that something's missing... Any suggestions?
At least I'm very happy over how Trixie turned out

I especially like the shading you used here. You can really get a feel for the depth, and the fog adds a nice effect. Also, It feels as if you could make the body a little bit shorter (unless you were trying to make it long) and the hat a little less crooked. You seem to have gotten the design on the hat right, which as far as I can tell is pretty hard. Your perspective on the tail doesn't quite feel right, I feel as if the tail should be behind the body. I love this! The style reminds me a bit of the G3 series, which (despite its many other shortcomings) was actually better drawn and animated than FiM.
My main quibble here is that the gem clasp on her cape is wayyyy too tiny. In the episode it was big and bold.

Anyway, I can see why you'd think that something's missing. The bottom corners feel a little empty. You could try putting some spotlights or the tops of the heads of some of the ponies in the crowd.

I am really liking this depiction of Trixie. I like how your style is a cross between the chubby, show-accurate style and a more leggy, realistic look. And I must say, Trixie looks just great: cute, confident, and ready to dazzle us.

I am honest, the only thing you can add is maybe, that the horn has the magic aura. But it isn't a must done thing. You don't need to do it. Why the horn? To start maybe the firework? I don't know, is just an idea.
