Description Yeah. I dunno if I have ever spent this long on a picture before. This took about 4 hours or so.

I saw this gorgeous picture of a palimino stallion and decided to draw him.

I've had a few mishaps with this pic. First off, it was pouring rain when I drew this.. Secondly, my computer froze before I could save the tail. Gah. It looked better the first time. Oh well.

I'm pretty happy with this one. It's a bit sloppy in spots but otherwise I think it's my best so far.

Yeah.. I stink at grass.. If anyone has a tutorial on that please, please, please tell me.
My favorite part of this is the head. I swear it took about and hour just to do the muzzle!

Well..Enjoy!

It's a bit smudge-heavy, but nice all the same.

Thanks for the pointer!

I love smudge, but sometimes it's better not to use it...even though it'll kill your hands to blend. LOL.

What I like to do is when I have two spots of color that I need to blend together, I take a small, 3 - 8 px brush and eyedropper the color in-between (usually if you zoom far in you can see there's a sort of median color) and then brush that over the border.

Then repeat with the two new borders.

Keep doing that and it turns out really crisply blended.
