"Lionblaze tensed, digging his claws into the ground. He knew what he wanted to say, but the words seemed stuck in his throat like a hard piece of fresh-kill, and were just as difficult to dislodge. 'You were a good mother,' he admitted at last, thinking longingly of the time they had been young, when he and his littermates had believed that Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw were really their parents. the tension in his shoulders relaxed as he let go of the long-held grudge."

Tails-hips - paws something stout them just is super good!! Keep that up!
Claw marks: such a little detail makes it so cute!!
Things to work on :
sholders:little wider would be better
mouths: could it be a little smaller or fangs? Theres no teeth!
eyes; just make the eyes more bold: try sharpening the edges.
fur: it looks a little scraggaly try and make it in bigger chunks
Back paws: if the front paws claws are unsheathed ...how can theses have no claws?
Overall great work!! I cant wait till next time! My favorite part was the lower body : the hips thighs paws and such, great job on that! My least favorute part was lionblazes eyes and mouth: try sharpening them a little)

The Good
- Poses are nice
- Like the nice flowing background
- Like the eyes
- Like how each cat has really emotional expression
The Bad
- WAY TO MUCH SHADING. You need to limit it just on the cat not making it cover the background.
- Lionblaze's eyes need to be a little bigger
- To much shoulder on the cat. It should move down the cats side evenly like here [link] See how it flows nicely down the back.
Hope this is useful and helps you improve your style. As A side note I gave you a 4/5 for Originality because this scene has been drawn before and will be drawn for a while.

1. Lionblaze's face is very round. Cat's faces are more oval-ly like so: [link]
2. Also, both of them have...odd shoulders. The way their shoulders connect to their body isn't normal, this is how a cat's shoulder's should look: [link]
3.Lionblaze's body is way to wide. I know that he's a muscular, large cat, but that does look very...natural. Look at the picture in number 2 again.
4. Lionblaze's tail shouldn't look like that. If you want it to be wrapped around his paws, it should look like so: [link]
5. Cat's ears aren't that pointed, there more rounded , like the picture in 1.e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="10" height="10" alt="

1. The shading looks fantastic. You can really tell where the light is coming from.
2.The background is amazing! It's extremely realistic, and I like how it's a background, not the whole picture.
3.The mist in the front is also very good. It's obvious what it is, yet it doesn't take up the whole foreground.
4. The blurring technique you used for Squirrelflight's paw is excellent, as well as the markings on Lionblaze.
Overall, this is a very nice piece, just some incorrect anatomy.

Lionblaze's front legs look a bit awkward. where the legs meet, the lines shouldn't be together, more so apart. And his back leg covering his tail is sort of messing with me. His eyes look a bit far apart also. Both him and Squirrelflight look a bit tense. The shoulders shouldn't raise up that high. The coloring is very good though.
But I must say, I really like how you did the background. The tree looks really good and I like how you made the path look somewhat bending down. The water looks like actual water coming up to the shore and the grass is nicely done. I like the fog effect also. Very nice picture

At this point in the book I just thought "FINALLY!". I think Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf both have held a grudge for too long, on both Squirrelflight and Leafpool.
I can bet that Bramble and Squirrel will make up again in the last book. If they don't......
