It doesn't matter anymore
The work won't finish itself
And I'm not about to get involved
Waited so long
So long for this moment
It's long gone
Can't work up the courage
Can't deal with this last minute bullshit
I've held it back long enough
Here it is now
Situation stagnates or flourishes
I don't know how
I'm gonna decide what to do
Either it's over or it's jsut beginning
But they're really the same thing
And I can't stop it
I can't change it
I can't keep it from eating my brains (what brains?)
Soon it will be over though
And then I can pretend
That I have made it through
Some sort of harrowing journey
That I've done something special
Can't wait for that
That'll be nice
