The gentle summer breeze danced and swayed across the field in the beaming morning light, flowing the hem of her red skirt in a gentle movement. The young dazzling flower sat on the wooden fence with a thoughtful yet sad gaze toward her expanded farm... waiting.

Where is he?...

He...

The man she had long not seen; long enough that her memories of their very first and last encounter was starting to blur.

Does he still remember me? She whispered into the breeze.

Does he still remember his promise? Her gaze turned blue.

Does he still WANT to remember me? Closing her warm brown orbs, Doris fought back the bitter tears with great bravado.

Suddenly, she felt something soft and light as a feather rest upon her head. Her eyes wide open, she swirled her head toward the source of the act. The agape huntress was forced to blink a few times in order to believe whom she was seeing.

Warm blue orbs as the color of the heavenly sky above her gazed with intense care and love. His chestnut brown curls danced gracefully in the gentle breeze. A few strands caressed teasingly the exposed skin on her shoulder, sending an overwhelming sensation down her spine.

This is real... he is REAL!

The beautiful hunter leaned closer to the flushed huntress, her alluring scent of roses and wet grass tickled his nostrils. Inhaling into her raven silky locks, dark-clad dhunpeal closed his eyes in bliss and bathed in her nostalgic fragrance with a content feeling.

She smelt like the ripe apples that grew in her farm;

She smelt of the radiating sun and the fresh summer breeze;

She smelt of life and home.

and he had missed her more than he had anticipated.

Leaning back, he watched her pink hued cheeks with a bemused look and brought the white dazzling flowers up to her view. Three small daisies waltzed in between long paraffin-colored fingers. Each representing a hidden meaning for the couple:

One for her genuine loyalty.

One for his sacrosanct promise.

One for their solemn pure love.

Finding her bewildered yet blushed face endearing, D leaned into her again, whispering gently and lovingly.

"Tadaimasu!" He smiled, his face as that of a Guardian Angel.

Doris's eyes widen in shock. Soon, warmth bloomed inside her beating chest. Smiling in return, the young maiden inched her face toward his handsome visage, leaving a chaste kiss on his cheek and resting her forehead on the crook of his neck, sighing in relief.

"D, welcome home...my love!"
