Mind Tempo is the genius, top schemer, and appointed leader of the group. He is extremely smart, takes AP classes including AP lunch, and can find ways to solve problems. He is known to have aced every class he has taken except for a baking class. However, because he tends to panic under pressure, in the end, it was Beryl who solved the problems. Sometimes, he isn't very confident and tends to compare himself to Beryl. He is portrayed as the glue that keeps the band together. He is genuine, optimistic, and sweet, and the next most down-to-earth guy in the band after Beryl. Mind Tempo is technically the founder of Fun Time Rush when he accepts to move to Canterlot and record demos only if his manager brings Diamond, Cloudburst, and Beryl along to make them all a band. He is portrayed as the glue that keeps the band together and manages to stay cool under pressure (described as Cool Rush) and figures out solutions to problems. Thus, often resulting in the other guys running Mind Tempo when they have a problem, being the most mature and responsible member of Fun Time Rush.

He is also the serious one follows along in his friends' schemes, sometimes making schemes of his own when needed, but he is usually afraid of taking chances. Mind Tempo is extremely smart, and the other guys usually rely on him to solve certain problems, like school work and such. However, he panics under pressure, usually leaving it to Beryl to come up with the schemes. Whenever the others are doing something bad and they tell him to join them, he always says, "I've gotta get new friends", but still joins them afterward.

Mind Tempo is shown to have a lack of swagger and he is somewhat of a nerd. He loves math and he is the one that keeps everyone in the group following the rules and stay grounded because likes to follow the rules. He always reminds his friends that some of their actions are breaking the rules. But even though he reminds them, the other bandmates don't really listen to him, and at the end, he begins to loosen up and ends up breaking the rules alongside his friends.

He doesn't dance very well, but as time goes by, he learned how to dance and can do back-flips. His other ability is beat-boxing and he does have a cute smile. Mind Tempo is so pessimistic and Cloudburst said that Mind Tempo is so scared of everything, but he corrected them by saying that he isn't scared but being realistic.

It seems like Mind Tempo is mostly interested in making millions of dollars because he was looking for buried treasure. If he did find the treasure, he was going to use it to pay for medical school, giving hints that he still wants to be a doctor. His biggest weakness is that he could be indecisive sometimes. But Logan didn't write that in his college application, instead he wrote 'weak bladder'.
