Not many of you will remeber this character [link]well now I drew her in manga, also for a practice with Gimp, and yes it is rather messy again xD because It was my first time with Gimp,
I need to follow more tutorials xDD
I didn't even want it to be lineless it just happened lol xD
oh and she controls Earth or anything grassy xD just thought I would mention xDD

I started useing photoshop when I was 12, I wasn't very patient back then, but I found out I was good with it

well... I'm not that good with the pen tool, and I don't know how to use layers in GIMP yet xD
but my fav tool is the aribrush, because it givs you great shading ^^

well it takes about 2 hours to finish a whole pic sometimes it would be longer depending on my mood xD

That Brilliant, i gave up with gimp (to be fair i didn't really try either 
word of advice about tutorials, use them to help you get familiar with the software but don't try and base your style against thereβs, it doesn't really work (I know Iβve tried O.o) but with that said if you Really feel comfortable with there style go for it XD I really need to stop contradicting sorry

I don't use tutorial to take styles I just try them and learn like you said, some tutorials are hard to follow and some of times it doesn't come out right xD

i know, most of them the person who made them is like, draw the line art then put in base colour, and you look at the ref pics and it like O.o how the hell did they do that XD
