Original, hand-painted watercolor on Strathmore 140lb cold-pressed paper.
This lovely watercolor is an original concept by yours truly. First, I came up with the idea of a young woman drinking coffee when she sees the shape of a bird in the steam rising from her coffee. Coffee is my favorite drink and Art Nouveau is my favorite art style. They came together so naturally for me. I'm glad to be able to share my imagination with you!

The cup of coffee is sitting next to a pink set of peonies. I used pink and brown tones to help give this piece a romantic, warm feeling that coffee gives me. I love the taste and smell of coffee so much! I hope you are able to understand the wonder of this warm drink from my painting.
