Tumblr post:rhearenee-magane.tumblr.com/po…I've been wanting to draw these guys for years and I finally did it. Regular Show is one of my favorite currently airing cartoons alongside Adventure Time.
It's kind of messy, but I like it. Sometimes my cleaner images don't look as great. The life gets sucked out of the picture once I do lineart, plus it would be a pain to clean up all that mess. Also I hope that the colors look okay. I recently did a system restore and I had tweaked my display colors a bit differently from the default look. I don't exactly remember what I did, so I can't get it back the way it used to look and now everything looks washed out on my screen.
This started out like a simple image, but in the end turned out to be like a story. So after Mordecai and Rigby come out of the coffee shop Rigby tells Mordecai about a story he heard (I dunno what kind of story, but it's something outrageous for sure) and Mordecai has hard time believing it. Yea, something like that.
If I ever draw them again I might change the designs a bit, since some of the details were really random and make no sense. Mookie's drawing came along as an inspiration a bit as well.

I can't stress this enough: THIS AND ALL OF YOUR ARTWORKS ARE EPIC. It's so irritating how people hate on Regular Show because it doesn't make that much sense.

I didn't even know that there's such a huge hate on the show. I know that people are hating on CN for its shows now and the fact that the older ones aren't airing anymore, but seriously Regular Show is one of the best ones currently airing (it has 6 seasons and the 7 upcoming season for a reason). Something like Uncle Grandpa is horrible or Clarence, I hate that show.

Yep. It really is annoying, because sure there are those retarded shows like Uncle Grandpa, but that doesn't mean other shows are stupid.

They're people that just like to hate on stuff. There has always been good and bad cartoons on CN. It's just that some of the people are stuck in nostalgia or simply outgrew cartoons.

I don't watch as much tv as I used to, so I'm actually missing out on a lot of new content, but yea that repetition part is one of the reasons why I stopped watching cartoons on TV, especially now when Disney and others started showing Hannah Montana and other old shows that I have seen hundreds of times.
