~Have you ever noticed how many mermay prompts have a fish everyone is familiar with- like the clownfish- and how mermay participants draw the same, basic, common clownfish? Did you know that there are multiple variants of clownfish!?
Well, I did! And I must say, I am tired of seeing the same common clownfish mers!
So this year, I bring you prompt lists consisting of fish and their variants! And I challenge you, dear artist, to draw mers of these variants!~

I don't think I've seen a lot of goldfish mers out there, so let's fix that!
