i believe it. i'm really interested in how you do this halftone style. i have seen some of them before. but yours is definitly the best.

Well it depends of the resolution you give (size of one square compared to the image size) but then, 2 problem occur:
-If you print it too small, the bridges are really tiny and the squares are tiny and harder to cut precisely.
-And even if you print it bigger (here, it is a A2 size, and it still has tiny bridges) you still have a huge amount of squares to cut...
Anyway, I used the "newsprint" filter of gimp, creating halftone lines, one layer with the lines 45° oriented and the second -45°. I had to play with masks and color inversion to get black squares at the end (I cut the black, leave the white) and then, spray it with a light color.
I still don't know how circular or waved halftones are made... I guess it might be done with Ps or Ai
