Remember these little guys? I had to draw it. I couldn't resist. Teh cuteness is overwhelming.They are called"Suswatari" in Japanese. Spirited Away is addicting and it is one of my favorite movie.

I actually like ALL his movies. My Neigbour Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Whisper of the Heart, etc. Whisper of the Heart was ok. His son also made a movie called Tales from Earthsea wich is good but not as good as his dad's.

I LOVE HIS MOVIES! AND HOWLS MOVING CASTLE ROXS! I agree tales of earthsea wasn't as good. . . you cant tell the old people from the young people and the people are to stout altogether! they;re to short and not prportioned!

you're right earthsea was . . . abit out there, but it was based on a book well . . . several books that they SMOOSHED together . . .
did you know howls moving castle was based on a book?
I read it and came to the conclusion that the movie was definetly better.
but the book has all thses different relationshipd in them.
originally (in the book) the main character has a stepmother who owns the hat store, their father dies and she puts them into places, the three daughters,
one of them is sent to be a witches apprentice and the other is sent to work at a bakery store, and the main character as we know was left the hat store.
you know the boy who is howls apprentice . . well he is meant to be about 15-17, becasue he is meant to be in love with the daughter that was sent to the bakery.
But the daughter at the bakery and the daughter who was the witches apprentice SWAPPED places! using magic they made themselves look like each other but the magic would slowly wear off.
the bboks are always more complicated ^^ . ..

It's ok to rant about stuff that you like.
Take the Sootballs for example, people dont usually give them any credit
and they did play a minor role in Spirited Away. They did the same in
My Neighbor Totoro. If it wasnt for them those two girls wouldnt have
found Totoro and his friends.
I knew Howl's Moving Castle was a book, I did some research
but all those other facts that you mentioned in the last comment were
unknown to me. I only heard bits and pieces.

Yep, I read the book, but I still have to say THE MOVIE wins my favourite place. I've nearly watched all of the Studio ghiblis movies, but I thought My friend Totoro was more o f a kids movie so i didn't watch it.
