Description "Please mind the gap between the train and the platform".
If you ever been to London you probably know that phrase.
Before couple 2 months I have been there, and the subway - the tube is something I really remember.

So that's the painting, I know it's a bit different from my other paintings, it's not a nature or sci-fi one, it's just an urban scene.

Again using the black and white technique: [link]
and practice on texture brushes, as you can see for example the walls.

Ok. That's it,
hope you will like it,
Cas. (Amit)

Hang it on my home, check it out: [link]

"the train is approaching, please stand behind the yellow line..." oh my, I totally agree with you, the London tube is something I will never forget... Me and my friend are always saying this "mind the gap" even if it doesn't make sense at some situation and every time i hear it I burst into laugh like crazy, it was so difficult not to laugh very loud when I was riding alone in a train when hearing this ...

BlackDelphin [2008-10-17 19:15:41 +0000 UTC]

ooh cool!! and i never would have thought that the flow image would be a grayscale at first

and about this deviaiton..yeah mind the gap! but aside from that! i think the feel is awesome!! and i really like the shiny fragmenting way the train disappears into the light
the texture gives it that feel i think and i can see your style in this, shiny and vivid, and yet a bit mysterious (like always ) and gloomy...idk how you did it but it worked!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AmitSadik In reply to BlackDelphin [2008-10-18 22:20:47 +0000 UTC]

Yea it was grayscale, maybe I will upload the grayscale version to scarps soon, so you can see

and yes that's my style I think, you analyze it pretty good gloomy, that's not good ^^ but yea in this painting there is some gloomy, you right.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BlackDelphin In reply to AmitSadik [2008-10-19 06:38:01 +0000 UTC]

hehehe and i like the gloomy part in this it reminds me of those end-of-the-world-calamity-type movies

that would be great! seeing a grayscale original of that vivid deviation!? that would be awesome i say

dood
very impressed...!
great job...!
know what i'd like to see you do...?
in x-men 3 there was a training room simulation...
the landscape was dark and full of destroyed things, fire, metal, and earth... and maybe a sentinal...!
it would make for a perfect panoramic...!
keep up the good work...
