So... NO ONE ELSE feels at all disturbed watching when he does this? Is it only me that had to turn away from the screen when I saw it first episode?!
No one at all? Because I get freaking shivers. Everything about it, I dunno, and the sounds he makes... Is it just me? TT^TT

It was a little disturbing the first time I watched it. I think everybody get's weirded out by it at first. But after a time it's something that I got used to. It's part of the character whether I like it or not. There are more disturbing characters out there (like Stein and his screw. How did that get in there!).
The show is on the dark side for this kind of anime but they counter it with goofy characters in goofy situations and they do it well. The real creepy parts only really happen every five episodes and tend to be in ten to fifteen minute intervals. Easily skip-able.
I enjoy the show and all it's disturbing scenes.

I agree. It's just kind of weird--I've come to the conclusion that the devouring of the souls is I think the only thing that really give me the chills. (You know... besides Excalibur.....yeah)
But yeah, I wouldn't change a thing. <3
And I keep thinking the same thing about Stein's screw too. Unexplainable! That guy is still one of my favourites. And of course, they make everything up to you with their adorable goofy moments. (I loved it when Stein went "Made you lo-oook~!" :'D Spinny chairs~)
