More dolls and flowers, are you bored of this theme yet? Because I'm not!
The weather has been horrible and dark in the past few weeks, so I haven't really been able to take any doll photos. Days are getting longer, but it's been so cloudy. D: I got these faux hydrangeas recently, and wanted to snap a few light and flowery photos while waiting for sunnier days.

This is a theme I want to try with my Esther or Alice. Flowers with the photos.

Thank you so much! ♥ These are fake flowers, but usually I prefer to use real ones. I buy small flower bouquets every now and then for our apartment and collect wild flowers during summer, so why not also use them in doll photos.
You should definitely try this theme with your dolls, too! I love the way flowers look with dolls (especially when flowers are huge and out of scale), so I have quite a few flower photos in my dA gallery. Real flowers have a lot more detail than fake flowers could ever have and look great in close ups, that's why I prefer them. On the other hand you need to be a bit careful with real flowers because they damage easily. I've had several roses, tulips and some wild flowers loose petals in the middle of the shoot. Also white flowers show dark damage spots really easily. So if you want an easy shoot and reusable props, use fake ones, but for and extra detail and a more unique look I recommend real ones.

Yeah with real flowers, you'll damage the petals if not careful, so I'd probably use fake ones.
