Description I've had this idea for a photoshoot in my head for weeks and few days ago it was finally time to make it happen! Exploring the nearby forests at 5 in the morning again, rolling around in dirt and almost freezing my fingers off, again.

I have an elf at home, but I never put him into wather.
We have photos only from bank of brook.

It's funny how many seem to be so afraid of getting their bjds wet, when in fact water does nothing to resin. Of course I can understand someone might worry about body blush or face-up, but I haven't have any problems with those either. Although, after the shoot I did have to take the doll apart, wash with mild soap and dry carefully to get the scent of the forest stream off of him and to make sure the metal hooks and such wouldn't rust.

Personally I really enjoy bjd photos taken near the water too, water is a very beautiful element in photography and often forest streams and brooks create such a lovely scenery.

I have fear from water and face-up of my elf. We need new fixation and maybe after, I will try put him into the water. I will see.

BJDs take water quite well, you just need to remember to dry the metal parts (hooks and such) afterwards so they don't rust. No need to worry

It took me a good while to find the right angle to catch his reflection too I guess it sort of adds to the dream-like atmosphere I was trying to achieve.

Vau, nämä on kyllä aivan mahtavia kuvia! Tosi elävä asento ukolla kaikissa ja ihanan synkkä ja kohtalokas tunnelma.
Voi kyllä kuvitella kuinka kylmää tuo vesi on, muuten tekisi melkein mieli mennä itsekin taas veteen kuvaamaan .D

Kiitos paljon ♥ Eniten aikaahan sitä menikin herran asetteluun, mitä epätasainen puron pohja ja muutenkin potkiva kroppa eivät ainakaan helpottaneet. Mukava että tunnelmassakin on ainakin jonkin verran mukana sitä synkkyyttä ja dramaattisuutta mitä alunperin lähdin hakemaan

Muistinkin shootin otettuani että sinullahan oli joskus viime keväänä/kesänä otettuja nukenuittokuvia, tykkäsin hirmuisesti niiden tunnelmasta ja kuinka kangas kellui vedessä ♥ Toivottavasti nämä omat otokseni eivät ole liian samankaltaisia... Jos aiot vain pikaisen shootin ottaa etkä jatkuvaan uittaa sormiasi vedessä niin kyllä sen kestää, mutta näitä kuvia ottaessa parin tunnin jälkeen kyllä omat sormenpäät alkoivat uhkaavasti muuttua sinertäviksi.

Olisi tietty ollut erittäin näppärää tajuta ottaa tuota shoottia varten mukaan termari täynnä kuumaa teetä lämmikkeeksi, olisi sitten voinut lämmintä kuppia vasten lämmitellä sormia >_o No, ensi kerralla viisaampana, tai ainakin lämpimämmällä säällä...
