Here's how I did he lights: I took some unfocused photos of christmas lights with a long exposure time against a black background, and after taking the actual photoshoot in the forest, I threw the christmas light photos on top of the doll photos with "lighten" layer mode (fill set to 90%), arranging them nicely and erasing some bits to suit my fancy. Some photos of this set might have even three photos over each other to create the look I wanted. At times you just have to use Photoshop to get what you want!

Ah cool. I had an inkling thats what you did. I love putting photo's over others with 'lighten', it can make a photo look really interesting .

The set of photo's you have taken, are so enchanting and dreamy. I kind of wish I could climb into the photo and join them. The rabbit makes it seem even more fairytale like .

Color layers and gradients are also something I use often, too. They create interesting results!
