Yes, I understand that other places were affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Honeslty, I don't know the situation in the other countries. How bad they need help, if they have the supplies they need. But Japan was hit the worst, and I did not mean to display ignorance toward the other countries affected.

I did not add this cuz I was not sure if it would look good.. but maybe the background could have a touch of green to it. It would divert attention away from the intention of creating the likeness of Japan's flag, but still its a thought.

I think this is my favorite of the pics for Japan I've seen. I'm tired of people getting ticked off over a word like "prayer"; yeah, action is needed, but action is inspired by a positive thought. I also think it's ridiculous how many people get mad about any picture for Japan at all and say it's a waste of time. Would it really be better for NO one to be drawing anything Japan-related? If somebody's gonna draw anyway, isn't it more meaningful for it to be about Japan? Anyway. End of rant. This piece is great.

Great job on this DD, I mean, hoping/praying for Japan, which has been hit by not just one, but three different disasters is practically all I can do. I do not have the money and I already have it hard trying to pay the bills and buy food and clothes for my family. I wish I could make donations, and it hurts when I see people bash others for saying "pray for Japan." You know what, not everyone can donate $100 to relieve Japan, especially not me at this time. I just got a new job and it's pay by commisson only. I can express myself in artwork that I know and cae, which if it helps, it does indirectly.
Congrats on the DD. The work on the many words in the red sun adds to this piece, and the blue sky seems to symbolize hope coming.

I agree completely. Lol, I'm an Atheist, but I still prayed. Still am praying. It's not hurting anyone, right? It's giving everyone hope. People need to pull their heads out of their asses.
I love this picture. It helps me keep my head up for my friends over in Japan that were effected. This brought a tear to my eye. Congrats on the DD, too!
